You use Tag-A-Long
Expeditions' jet boat as a
shuttle vehicle to totally
immerse you outback in the
Moab Canyons and far
reaching mountain bike
trails.
Sol Fun guides provide
helpful hints for technique.
Because this is a 2 hour
ride, less demanding, it is
appropriate for everyone!

The Big Picture
Your guided mountain bike adventure begins at the Tag-A-Long office in Moab. We will load your
mountain bikes and drive you to the
river where you are
transported downstream and
dropped off. Youll enjoy a
moderate trail in the
sunshine of Moab!
You must make reservations ahead of time to participate in this
jetboat shuttle service and
guided ride. *Please
check-in the evening prior
to departure to confirm
times.
The Details - Mountain
Biking with a Cool Twist
You meet our
river captain and the Sol
Fun guide at the Tag-A-Long
office as early as 7:15 a.m.
with your bicycle, helmet
and water! Your route offers memorable
mountain bike experience
deep in the backcountry of
Moab' canyons and the Colorado River
corridor. Your guided tour will
land at our partners at
Base Camp, a wonderful
haven for accommodations on
the river's edge. We also
may have this as an
afternoon departure meeting
at 1:15 PM. Either way you
are out for 4 hours.
Please check-in, the
evening prior to your
departure, we will confirm
the appointed time to meet
for the tour to take place
the following day. The river trip
gives you bragging rights
for your mountain bike experience
in Moab Utah and will give
you a chance to learn about
the geology, wildlife and
other natural and cultural
history of the area.
Skill Level
Mountain bikers with average
skills and in moderate shape
will enjoy this tour.
Road Surface
The surface of the trail varies among dirt, rock and some sand.
Water
You will be required to
carry a minimum of 1 liter
of water per person for the
bike ride. On hot days
during the middle of summer,
you should carry 2 liters of
water.
Lunch
This is considered a
half-day trip and no food is
offered. You should bring
snacks.
