Moab Utah to remove you from the clamour of a populated planet
The Green River is one of the hidden secrets of the American West. It begins in Wyoming, where Major Wesley Powell in 1869 first ran the Green River in it's entirety and beyond into Cataract and Grand Canyons, beginning a lengthy history of river running further endorsed by commercial outfitter development starting in large part here in Utah.
The Green River has a remote placement in Utah. In Desolation and Gray Canyons where Tag-A-Long promotes guided river rafting trips, large sandy beaches are regularly shaded by mature Cottonwood trees. The Uintah and Ouray Reservation spans the eastern Green River border multiplying the sense of remoteness as those river banks are off limits for camping. Culturally, these canyons were frequented by trappers and Native Americans.
