The drive: Grand Junction, CO and Moab, UT is 2 hours.

The drive between Salt Lake City and Moab is 4.5 hours.

Rental vehicles are available with advance reservations to await you near Moab via air at CYN field.

Thrifty car rental is located in the Moab Valley Inn in Moab, Utah.

4. Fly into Las Vegas – Drive

This works for folks doing a loop to include visits to Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef National Parks, Moab and return to Vegas by south route to include Monument Valley and south rim of Grand Canyon National Park.

Las Vegas is 451 miles from Moab and about an 8 hour drive.

In Moab transfers are also available.

For example $80 for pick ups and delivery to Sorrel or Red Cliff Lodges outside of town.
