Utah River and Wilderness Expeditions since 1964... come Tag-A-Long with us!
A delightful jet boat ride on a calm-water stretch of the Colorado River gives you a few hours in the wilderness without all the hassle and risks of true backcountry expedition. You’ll ride in comfortable seats in our sturdy river tours boat. These boats speed along about 20 miles an hour and stop frequently for photographs, sightseeing, and narration by your river tour guide. The guide drifts the boat quietly as you hear about all the fascinating geology, wildlife, and historic sites you’re seeing. Bring binoculars to spot bighorn sheep playing on the cliffs. What you’ll see is only accessible by boat ride! Less adventurous travelers will miss it all while you take this short Moab tour.
This trip is for anyone who wants a clam-water cruise on the Colorado River but has limited time. We travel downriver from Moab to sites only accessible on the river, there are no roads. Few people get these river views. It is a scenic, relaxing hour that gives memories for a lifetime.
Limited on time but want to experience the amazing Colorado River? The 1hr. Express Jet is the perfect jet boat tour. Morning and afternoon trips are available and both offer a great way to beat the heat and enjoy the beauty of the Canyonlands area. Join us for a journey down the calm-water section of the Colorado River in a covered boat to an amazing part of the area.
Our guide skillfully navigates the jet boat down the river and 2,200 ft. canyon walls tower above. The 1-Hour Express Jet includes wonderful views of Moab arches, Indian petroglyphs, and a unique view of an Indian granary. The boat returns to Canyonlands by Night and Day’s private dock after traveling approximately 20 miles round trip.
Travelers wanting supreme Canyonlands scenery, folks with limited time, families, ages 4 and up!
Be Prepared: While this is a dry-come-as-you are river tour opportunity, the boat ride is open air (see our pictures), jackets/layers may be appropriate. Don’t forget your camera!
