A combination of back country off roads and main attractions on the paved roads. The Canyonlands 4×4 reveals the depth and breadth of 2,000 feet of geologic layers. Stretch your legs on a 30 minute walk to Mesa arch for a stunning panoramic view. We also visit the famous Dead Horse Point overlook to glimpse the mighty Colorado River far below. Your guide will discuss flora, fauna, geology and history along the way.
See the park from the Colorado River gorge. There are no roads along the river here so there is no other way to see this area. The calm water motorized boat tour runs below Dead Horse Point and enters the boundary of Canyonlands National Park. A short walk will bring you to a natural grotto, carved out of the canyon by centuries of erosion, and walk right up to large petrified trees and fossils. Your guide will discuss flora, fauna, geology, and history along the way.
Easy raft trip great for all ages! Laugh and splash your way down 6 miles of the Colorado River surrounded by the red rock canyons. There is time for swimming during the calm sections. Add a kayak (for a small fee) to paddle your own smaller boat. Your guide will discuss flora, fauna, geology and history along the way. No experience is necessary. Children must weigh at least 40 pounds (18 kilos) to join.
Explore what Moab was long before it became an adventurer’s mecca! This tour will take you way back in time to see dinosaurs and the ancient ones that used to call this place home. We’ll provide the rocks, the art, and the fossils, and the stories… you provide the imagination!
Looking for a TRUE Moab 4-wheeling adventure? The Hells Revenge trail will give you all that and more! Located in the famed Sand Flats Recreation area of Moab, this trail is a roller-coaster ride in the middle of some of the most spectacular red rock vistas around! You’ll be overjoyed travelling over slickrock between the majestic La Sal Mountains and the mighty Colorado.
