Deposit, Prepayment and Cancellation Policies
Multi-Day Expeditions
Deposit of $100.00 per person is required at the time the reservation is made. Final payment is due 30 days prior to the departure date. If you cancel 30 days or more before your trip, you will receive a full refund less a $50.00 booking fee per person. If you cancel less than 30 days, but more than 14 days in advance, you will pay $100.00 per person booking fee. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to your departure,
there are no refunds.
One and Half-Day Expeditions
(except Westwater, Cataract Canyon one-day trip
and Horse)
A deposit of $20.00 per person is required at the time the reservation is made
and non-refundable. Final payment is due at the time of departure. Westwater
and Cataract Canyon Day Trip requires
$150 per person at the time
of booking and is
nonrefundable.
Shuttle of Canoes
A $50 per person deposit is due at the time of jetboat reservation. A $50 per
service deposit is due to arrange vehicle only shuttles. Final payment is due on the day of departure. If you cancel 30 days before your trip, you will receive a refund of the deposit less an administrative fee of $25.00 per person or day. If you cancel within 30 days, you will receive no refund of the deposit.
Winter Huts
Deposit is due at the time of reservation. Deposit is the cost of the first night and this is nonrefundable.
Hotels
Deposit is due at the time of reservation. Deposit is the cost of the first night and this is nonrefundable.

Tag-A-Long Expeditions accepts personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover
and wire transfer
information can be
provided to you by fax.
A Note about Guide Gratuities
Tipping is not required, but if your guide does an outstanding job of customer service, it is a nice way to say "thanks." Industry guidelines for tipping suggest $5.00 to $15.00 per person on a one day trip and $10.00 per person per day on the longer overnight trips.
What Tag-A-Long Expeditions Provides
For Multi-Day Expeditions
Tag-A-Long Expeditions provides the expedition as described in the itinerary, pre-trip documentation and assistance, meals while on the expedition, USCG approved life preservers, government user fees,
containers for clothing and gear, and guide staff.
For One Day Expeditions
Tag-A-Long provides USCG approved life preservers, guide staff, lunch (on full day trips). And on day 4x4 trips government entrance fees to parks are not included.
Not included is transportation from your home to Moab, airport transfers (unless specifically included in the itinerary), pre-or-post-trip lodging, meals, wine, beer, soft drinks, sleeping bag units, tents, and guide gratuities.

Tag-A-Long believes backcountry expeditions can be especially enjoyable and appropriate for special populations. We enjoy taking persons with disabilities on our trips. Please call and discuss your needs, and we’ll help you make appropriate selections. Special price considerations are available on some expeditions for the disabled individual and a companion.
