If you have your own camping equipment, you are welcome to bring it. We will provide watertight dry bags for your gear. If you choose to rent equipment, however, you can feel confident it’s comfortable and makes camp life easy.
Our tents are your bedroom for the night! Guides will provide instruction in "pupping" your tent. Then, viola, your home for the night is constructed. Our tents are rated for two people. If it rains, each tent has a rain fly that attaches easily. You should consider bringing a plastic ground sheet to sleep under the sky and have a tent for emergency, inclement weather.
We provide sleeping bags that are laundered after each trip. They are comfortable and match our climate well. Along with each sleeping bag, we provide a specially made "Poco Pad." It is a self-inflating mattress and is extremely comfortable. We pack the sleeping bags in a watertight bag so they stay dry and clean throughout the expedition.
During the spring we require wet suits on major river expeditions. This is the only time of the year the water is cold. You can bring your own wet suit or rent one of ours. We have one piece (short farmer Johns) of a lightweight material. Each suit is cleaned and sanitized after each trip.
