Cancellation Policy

2018 Cancellation & Refund Policy

Fisher Towers Trips (Full and Half day): There is no deposit charged for the Fisher Towers full and half day trips. Your credit card is just used to hold the trip. The full and half day trips do have a 48 hour cancellation and is nonrefundable within that time; payment will be charged in full if cancelled within the 48 hour mark.

Westwater Canyon (one day trips): Have a 14 day cancellation policy and are nonrefundable after that time. Westwater trips are charged in full within 14 days of trips departure. One-day Westwater Canyon trips are nonrefundable within 14 days of departure date.

Land Tours/National Park Backcountry 4×4 Jeep Tours: There is no deposit charged for the full and half day jeep trips. Your credit card is just used to hold the trip. The full and half day jeep trips do have a 48 hour cancellation and are nonrefundable within that time. Payment will be charged in full if cancelled within the 48 hour time period. Private Tours: All full and half day private tours have a strict cancellation policy of 7 days.

Jet Boat Tours: Must cancel 48 hours prior to trip departure to receive a refund less. Cancellations within the 48 hours are non-refundable. Customers will receive a refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.

Cataract Canyon Trips: $100 per person deposit reserves your space. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. Cancellations made before 60 days prior to departure are non refundable.  If you cancel outside of 60 days all monies except a $50.00 per person fee are imposed.   Full payment will be charged for cancellation within the 60 days.

All Other Multiple Day Trips: require a $100 per person deposit for confirmation. The balance of the trip fee is due 60 days prior to the trip departure date. If cancellations are made at least 60 days prior to the trip date, the deposit is refunded, less a $50 service charge per person. For cancellations made within 60 days of a trip’s original departure date, monies are non-refundable. At 60 days monies are charged to credit card for final payment.

*Cash only for final payment on arrival. Reservations will not be held without a deposit.



Tag-A-Long Expeditions/Adrift Adventures uses quality equipment and our guides are licensed and prepared to serve your needs.  However, on a wilderness expedition unexpected circumstances may arise.  It is customary among outfitters to require you to sign an “Acknowledgement of Risk” form prior to departure.  This releases Tag-A-Long Expeditions/Adrift Adventures from responsibility for your personal injury and loss of or damage to your equipment and/or personal articles. We reserve the right to withdraw any tour or to make any change in the tour, with or without notice, that Tag-A-Long/Adrift Adventures may deem necessary.

Tag-A-Long Expeditions/Adrift Adventures makes every reasonable attempt to operate your expedition as advertised, but sometimes weather conditions, river conditions, evaluation of participant ability, emergencies, strikes, war, visitor minimums or other circumstances beyond our control cause us to make necessary alterations; such alterations will not be the cause for any refund or adjustment in expedition prices.

Some expedition prices include the cost of air flights arranged by Tag-A-Long/Adrift Adventures. If you choose to make your own charter flight arrangements rather than use our services, we will refund that portion of the expedition cost.  Tag-A-Long Expeditions/Adrift Adventures cannot accept responsibility for any injury, loss, damage or additional expenses due to any act, omission, delay or changes in transportation provided by air service or other services included in your expedition arrangement.
